THE DARWIN CHAIR SYSTEM

The Darwin Chair System is an upholstered armchair capable of adapting to ones changing wants and needs.

Featuring three interchangeable cushion types which easily attach and detach from the chairs frame (pictured above) for different usage scenarios, cleaning, repair, fabric updates, or replacement.

    promote an upright posture while revealing the frames elegant form.

  • The Club Cushions

    introduce a contemporary take on the iconic club seat. Perfect for cozying up in style.

  • The Slipper Cushion

    offers a visually lighter variation which is more industrious in style, bringing the bent metal frame and leather seat strapping to the forefront.

Harrison and his family

Harrison developed his insight for this design during his time working in interior design and furniture sales.

The observations he made of client experiences presented him with a clear gap in the made to order upholstery market.

His conclusion being that products which enable users to adapt their finish, and form would facilitate an easier, more accessible shopping experience, and an outcome that is more conducive to the ever changing lives of modern consumers.
